The RRG Protest Tee
$ 25
In 1967, a rowdy group of Kentuckians in the Wolfe and Powell County area came together to protest the building of a dam and the destruction of the the place they called home. That gorge called Red River is now visited by hundreds of thousands of Kentuckians and tourist alike to climb, hike, paddle, and camp their way through 29,000 acres of Kentucky outdoor glory! Eventually, one awesome Supreme Court Justice came down to Kentucky, staged a hike, and eventually saved the Gorge, but without the initiatives and groundwork of locals, we may have never seen the Gorge become the place it is today. As a nod to these Kentuckians, we have created the vintage inspired, unisex RRG Protest tee. 20% of all net proceeds from this tee will be donated to volunteer ran Powell County Search & Rescue who risk their lives to find & rescue visitors in trouble in the Gorge.
